Who do you treat?
We provide speech-language therapy across the lifespan, from children to older adults. While we serve pediatric clients, we have specialized expertise in working with adults with neurological and complex medical conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, brain tumors, and other neurogenic disorders.
What conditions do you treat?
We evaluate and treat:
- Speech disorders (articulation, motor speech, apraxia, dysarthria)
- Language disorders (aphasia, expressive/receptive language deficits)
- Cognitive-communication disorders (memory, attention, executive functioning)
- Swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
- Voice disorders
- Social communication challenges
What does a speech therapy evaluation involve?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation tailored to your specific concerns. This may include standardized testing, clinical observations, caregiver or family input, and discussion of functional goals. For adults with neurological conditions, we focus on real-world communication, cognitive demands, and safe swallowing strategies that impact daily life.
Do you work with adults recovering from stroke or brain injury?
Yes. We specialize in neurorehabilitation and provide individualized therapy for adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other acquired neurological conditions. Our goal is to maximize independence, safety, and quality of life through functional, evidence-based intervention.
Do you offer swallowing therapy?
Yes. We assess and treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) adults. For medically complex adults, therapy focuses on safety, nutrition, quality of life, and collaboration with your medical team when appropriate.
Is therapy personalized?
Absolutely. No two clients are the same. We develop individualized treatment plans based on your medical history, goals, lifestyle, and priorities. Therapy is practical, functional, and centered on what matters most to you and your family.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, our services are private pay, however, superbills for out-of-network reimbursement may be provided upon request.
How long does therapy last?
The length of therapy depends on your diagnosis, goals, and progress. Some clients benefit from short-term, targeted intervention, while others with progressive or complex neurological conditions may benefit from longer-term support.
Do you work with other professionals?
Yes. We collaborate with physicians, neurologists, occupational and physical therapists, dietitians, teachers, and caregivers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Where are services provided?
Services may be offered in-home, in-office, or via telehealth, depending on availability and client needs. A trip fee may be required depending on location when providing services in-home.
